And where did you here that pray tell?
Find it hard to believe mesell. We've got Peds, Finchy and Dandy aswell as Dean Marwood's son in the wings.
Don't get me wrong 'cause I think Matty's a real 'un. He'd do a real good job for us mind.
Think someone's pulling yer chain!

What a load of rubbish. Main reason being he's under contract at town until the end of the year so he can't sign terms for next season unless it's with town. Plus I very much doubt barrow could afford him. And he looks pretty happy in a town shirt to me.

I'd be suprised if thats true. I heard he works shifts on site so I cant see the attraction of travelling up and down to barrow 3 times a week to train and play in the same league as the two other cumbrian teams on his doorstep. As the barrow fans say they have cover at 9. Each club has to balance their squad wisely against the wage cap. I hope he stays at town but if not we have to move on.

I heard the moon is made of cheese!!!!!!!!!
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Barrow tried but failed to sign him from Haven due to the fact his other half had just given birth and was not happy for him to be traveling down to Barrow.
Would mind him at Barrow best Hooker in the league imo.
