Well at least we'll have a strong bench ! But again centres worrying in terms of attacking threat and the old halves chestnut. As I said Lupton needs revving up , and Coward needs to pull his weight to as he's not producing lately . Will Petersen be allowed to back up by Hull KR ? State of Origin players do it !! All in all I'm struggling to be overly confident , weve become inconsistent in our performance and the home Donny game was a long time ago now. The layoffs are hurting us a little , but it's the same players and it's all in there , so nothing would surprise me in this one either way .

Lets hope both teams perform to their potential and the ref keeps his whistle in his pocket for all the trivial stuff.

2nd part of that no chance Lee !! Not in our league with these guys . The standards shocking. They decide games unfortunately a lot of the time.

Think that's more or less the side we were putting out against Gateshead. Maybe with shacks and annakin switched.

I think he's injured. He was last week. As I say it's just what I think, not what I hope the 17 is. Although I would be shocked if it was far off as there quite a few lads on the sidelines with injuries.

Indeed . Well we just have to go with what we have then and give it our all cheered on by all of us.Looking forward to seeing the new lads , it's certainly gonna be a strong, forward dominated side.

Looks as though Brett is out of Sunday's game with a abdomen strain. I don't think it weakens us too much because miller is a quality strike player from there, but it will just weaken us on the wings. Calderwood will have to really step up.hopefully they play dawesy there but I think it will be more like olstrum or mossop. Mossop had his best game in a town shirt Vs north Wales, and that was from the wing.

Oh I think it does weaken us. His returning and elusiveness have been fantastic and he's been very safe. Him and Miller have been pretty much our whole backline threat. Calders will indeed have to show that SL player this week. Only positive is increased involvement for Eliott.

Sorry mate meant to say it won't weaken us at full back, but it will certainly weaken our backs, especially with Rooney out as well. Ell and Brett have been head and shoulders above the rest in attack, but I think miller is as strong under the ball, and although isn't perhaps as elusive as Brett, he certainly can you use his extra pace and strength to make up the yards. And with Brett not signed on for next year yet, we might see miller moved there on a more permanent basis.

Can't disagree with that Wonky. Thinking same about Miller myself, whether Brett's here or not . They'd make a dangerous 1&6 combo.

I would be getting benson even if Brett stays(fingers crossed he does), next year were going to need quality cover right across the park. But I honestly feel at our level Brett is possibly the most irreplaceable player we have.

Whatever it takes (relatively). We can't lose our main elusive , out of the box player. Dead right , you cant coach what he has. Benson is very very safe at the back and would be a fine squad member in his own right, absolutely.
