i know your funds might not be as good as you guys would like but besides grimmer who would you guys keep on? I mean the squad you have got now obviously isnt good enough to stay in this league.{Im not looking for an argument or giving you guys any dis-respect just looking in from the outside thats all}.

I think some of the players are below par Gaz but with what funds we've got, the next player who replaces em are gunna get the same wage, and thats know fault on the players we've got, there doing there best,i'd rather have a club than over spend

Is that neil lowe? Also i know rats as been missing for you along with grimmer which might have made you more competitive than you have been. Also your dangers in this league next year look like they are going to be tough to crack i mean cumbrian sides are always hard to beat at their place.York have signed a new coach in thornton who will be out to impress i just feel next season will be harder than this for you guys.

Unfortunatley unless we get one millionaire coming in, we after be greatful we still have a team, and a club run with the club at heart.

We all would love the best players, but while not ideal, and we may be struggling next season, like all ready said, as long as we have a club, then will take the bad with the good, and the good times will come back again.

Do I detect that excuses are already starting to be made for next season ?--- lack of funds for HIST-- can I quote from the Chairmans page in last Sundays programme-- "HISTdo not yet own the club, and there has been no exchange of shares" ---- so despite all the hype HIST do not own the club.
I know nothing about club finances because nobody tells us anything---- all I do know is that we haven't had to pay out much winning pay.
For next season sign Stuart Kaine, Danny Ratcliffe, Andy Yates, Neil Lowe and David March if he decides to play on for another season.
Come on Poolie and co think BIG, you will find that other clubs are worse off than Hunslet.

we sign 3 more players and guess what, we are talking relegation, WHY? WHY?

under the control of HIST not OWNED, from what i have seen, yes it has been a hard season, but its all about getting our house in order for next year, its crucial we stay in this league.

we start building a team and we are are already complaining, come on guys lets support our team,

there are a lot of clubs who have spent big this year on players and delivered nothing, it will be interesting to see what happens at the end of the season.

we should be rewarding some of our players for the hard work they have put in, they could have dropped down a league and got more winning pay but didn,t.

next season Hunslet will finish in the top half of the league and push for a play of postion,

Good post pal. We could sign slater, lockyer and and Tomkins and frisky and a few others would still find some reason to moan about it

Ithought you would come on--- it's you that's moaning, -- all I'm saying is sign the players I've mentioned and think BIG.

I put oh dear, not as a reflection on those signed, but previous statements said ' We are putting plans in place for next season'. If that means signing everybody on again, that is not going to help. We obviously need new blood along with just a few from this year.

Best post on this thread. That is the point i was trying to get across what is the point in signing most of the team back on when they are obviously not good enough? You may say funds but im sure you could get someone just as good if not better on the same wages or for a few quid more.Even if the player is only as good as a player you already have if he wants to play for the shirt/team then your on a winner straight away.

with the above mentioned players plus a decent scrum half to partner Grimmer add Oaksey haighy brickwood possibly Pricey if available two or three rhino youngsters who are willing to commit and stay a full season you have the nucleus of a good sqaud. Dont know who the two centres would be in your opinion but it will be interesting to see how things develop im sure the people who run the club will not want to divulge too much of their intentions but i feel confident the Hawks will be competative next season so keep the faith.

Thany you for a sensible posting suzzy,
the players I mentioned that we need to resign will no doubt be the interest of other clubs especially now that you know who has become coach at you know where
Danny Rats could fit in at scrum half, but I think we need a big name player if we are going to ask £16 again, and to set the season ticket sales going for 2013.
I know that you can't officially approach anyone at another club until next month so lets wait and see.
