So here it is the big one, great news that it looks like all three Cumbria clubs will be promoted.

Guess the score time for those with just interest in the one game, Pennington is taking a break this week :D

I think that the lack of a game last week and no chance to "bed in" the new dual reg will work against Workington.

Massive away support for Barrow and maybe the biggest that Town will have seen in a long time.

Town 16, Barrow 34.

Either way it should be a cracking game and day out.

Here is to a good craic and great game.

It will be nice to see a large number from Barrow as we don't normally see many making that journey. We had 1,954 for the Haven game in June and it would be nice to see over 2,000 this week, the match certainly deserves to get that many.

I think the time off for Town will have recharged a few batteries and although I don't normally predict scores I am going to go for 28 - 14 to Town. (Fingers are well and truly crossed on that one)
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

One of us will either get drummed or it will be a very tight game.

Hopefully we'll Drum Workington.

I think if our forwards can hold down that big Town pack again and get some decent field position,I believe our backs have points in them on Sunday.

Then again if they get on top of us and we start to fall off tackles,I fear the worst.

No predictions from me,may the best team win!

How brilliant is this. After Town have had several mediocre seasons and Barrow earlier thus year looked like they could disappear altogether its bloody brilliant that we meet in such a massive end of season game. This is gonna be one of the best atmospheres we have seen at DP for many many seasons, I hope you all have a good day, even though you will go home disappointed (hopefully)

No disrespect intended......

Can Derwent Park handle 500 hungry and thirsty Raiders fans, how big is the bar, can you smoke in the ground?

If DP can't accomodate you could always nip over the viaduct next to the ground which will take you on to the quay where you will find some great pubs such as the Lifeboat, the Pince of Wales, the Ship Launch, the Coastguard, George lV, Stewarts club, Union Jack club and the Steampacket (best of them all). So you boys certainly won't go thirsty. :)

18-6 to Town, Barrow making plenty of errors here and Town playing very well as expected, next score hugely important & it needs to be us.

COME ON BARROW
