I think this will be a close game. Wakefield are in great form so I wouldn't be at all surprised if they got the result. I'll go for a narrow Saints win though.

Big reaction coming from saints I think. Expect a close first half hour then saints pulling away. 16-44
Rugby League is a sport that desperately needs to expand its geographical supporter base and its player base. This imperative means that all other requirements are secondary until this is done.

All power in the game should be with governing bodies, especially international governing bodies.

Without these actions we will remain a minor sport internationally and nationally.

Big reaction coming from Wakefield too, win this and they have a great chance of the 8, no cake walk for saints here it should be a cracker.

Win or lose, 'the entertainers' have been good value this season.

Saints are a bit dull though.

Weather is perfect at the moment, early morning cloud almost burnt away and not a breath of wind blowing.

I think this game will be an absolute cracker, end to end with some superb expansive Rugby League played by both teams.

Wakefield at +14 on the handicap look like a very good bet to me.

Wakefield are dominating Saints so far. 22-8 ahead and Radio Merseyside commentary with no doubts that they're easily the better team.

Managed to get to the game today. Wakefield have been dominating until Cockayne lost the plot a bit in the face of a hard tackle; Saints score immediately... 22-14.

Great atmosphere under the new stand.

How much of a difference is Gaskell making? The commentary seem to think he's improved things since coming on.

He hadn't done much until an absolute gem of an inside ball to Wellens puts us in front. Fooled everyone...

Shifted positions to the touchline and the Wakefield lot are a moaning bunch! :D

Oh hang on, Smith has just scored....
