this is kippax's thing tho, the last two pennine seasons they've dropped out before the finish. why the NCL would vote them in is beyond me. its not even as if they're much kop!

Their acceptance was conditional on having enough players so expect they've blown it.this is kippax's thing tho, the last two pennine seasons they've dropped out before the finish. why the NCL would vote them in is beyond me. its not even as if they're much kop!

Been telling you for a long time about the make up of certain clubs...Time will tell but I bet Kippax have lost a few of what would have been their own players over the last few seasons because imports have pushed their noses out, NCL going summer has hit most of the Heartlands based RLCN clubs.
Makes you wonder whats left for a club that has had a good reputation until it's flirting with the summer, I hope where ever they decide to play they sort themselves out because I've a lot of fond memories of playing against them.

Has the game actually 'postponed' to a later date, or has Cov been awarded a 24 - 0 win?We have just been informed that Kippax will not be coming to Coventry today. No details known at present.

'Postponed' as per usual RFL incompetence. I can understand replaying games at juniors but to let clubs willy nilly call off games in a supposedly serious league defies belief.Has the game actually 'postponed' to a later date, or has Cov been awarded a 24 - 0 win?

Will be a bit off if clubs have their final positions decided by a calculator.

Not really as Kippax brought their problems on their own head. I do care about where the likes of Bristol end up though.Bit of I'm OK jack.

I want everyone to be playing but in the environment that best for them and it's been obvious that the summer is not going to fit the majority and it's not going to get better. Not really as Kippax brought their problems on their own head. I do care about where the likes of Bristol end up though.

For many clubs summer is best for them. Kippax's problem is not summer it's using other clubs' players. The same problem will kill off some NWCL teams in the winter if they fall into the trap of shipping in summer players.I want everyone to be playing but in the environment that best for them and it's been obvious that the summer is not going to fit the majority and it's not going to get better.

I don't think you are aware of how many games are going ahead without 17 players per side or with 17 players being made up of 2nd team and U18's/U17'S and in one case U16's.For many clubs summer is best for them. Kippax's problem is not summer it's using other clubs' players. The same problem will kill off some NWCL teams in the winter if they fall into the trap of shipping in summer players.
Playing in the NCL is not about taking part it's about winning and a lot of teams that have been used to winning and playing at a high standard have been struggling to put a settled side out, It's obvious some clubs will do OK at first as some groups put playing before their family, but time will tell on that one.
I'll ask you a question and please answer it as straight as possible with out going round the bushes, A few years ago Coventry won the RLCN under Troy Perkins, then the wheels fell off and in the last couple of seasons you seem to have clawed yourselves back, "Why did the wheels fall off"

We've never had to call off a first team game in summer and the only one we've had to in our history was after the winter season had already started.

Still, we're happy - hit some form at last and playing well. After struggling early on we seem to have finally got up to speed on what's required at this level. Given that we lost our first 11 games that's a bit of a relief.
