Usual place, Nige, if you can get an ear to the radio - www.bbc.co.uk/rugbyleague or 666/1260AM.
Should be entertaining enough as I think we have one Mr Ford in the summarisers seat !!

The crowd was just under 2000 and wouldn't like to estimate the York following. Whilst York probably did not deserve to win they were not 32 points worse than Halifax. Their first try resulted from a blatant forward pass and in the second half I could not understand why York had a try disallowed down the left side. The coup de grace was Halifax's try on the stroke of half time for after that, there was no way back for York no matter how hard they battled, which they did but there were too many unforced errors.

Has to be said, David, that Tyler's pass to George Elliott for our first one looked suspiciously forward too but the refereeing today was abysmal. It didnt affect the final outcome but it was an embarrassment at times.
Saw a few faces I recognised from York.
Credit to the lads for battling through having lost Jack in the Box, Sully ( though he was gritty enough to come back on ) and Bushy to injury during the game. Sam Barlow was the difference - when he came on he threw a really stupid offload but thereafter busted us up the middle for Thacks, Tiger and Ashall to find the gaps.
Great effort from Ben Dent to try and track down Worrincey on the 85 metre interception. Bit like watching Blake try to hunt down Usain....

Very proud of all 17 Knights lads yesterday, pity not a bit more support for them, but its
not cheap at Fax as they have some very big names to pay for.

CT, Dario, Sully, Aldous worth an extra mention, Jack Lee outstanding for 30 minutes, but then
as you would expect this season, gets injured. Sounds like Sully played with an injury & Tom Bush
also now injured, so how we get 17 on the pitch next week is anybodys guess, but we'll be there to
support them.

Really hope the Fax fans actually appreciate the totally massive difference between the 2
benches - 17 year old lads against Super League players.

They have probably only heard of 4 players, Thorman, Pryce, Sully and Lee. Think most of their fans would struggle to name any others they had heard of before, apart from maybe Bush, Freer and Garside from last year.

1ST League game of the season for me after a move to Gibraltar with work.Backed York with 40 start on the handicap for some match interest as little chance of winning the game and the bet was never really in danger after York made a good start and led 12-4.Gamebreaker was the York no try just before the break but Fax always had plenty in reserve.Decent effort from York with so many injuries etc and couldnt fault the effort.Obviousley not a season to remember and a shame away numbers have dropped off.Have seen many great road victories over the years when we regularly took more away fans than the home team could muster.
Hopefully a few of the young lads will blosum with experience and a more competative york team will be seen next term.
Do miss the Sunday afternoon rugby but will continue to follow the lads from afar.Lets beat Hunslet to avoid the wooden spoon.
