Not as good as the opening but pretty good so far, heard MUSE are involved later on which would be brill if true.

I see the Queen isn't there tonight, sending Prince Henry instead.

Interesting choice of John Lennon's Imagine as one of the songs.
"Imagine there's no countries".
Would make the medals table a bit dull. How would the team sports get selected.
Emilie Sande must have a good agent to have got the opening ceremony and two numbers tonight.
And Roger Daltry has aged well.

Wonderfully subversive! Imagine athletes competing just to see who was fastest, stongest, etc?
Team games? Just gather the best players of footballer, hockey, basketball, etc, elect 16 captains out of each sport, and get them to pick their own teams playground-style.
