[Castleford Hawk]

Brilliant day at the Parnaby Tavern today. Big thanks to the landlord and The Blades . A great team effort from everyone involved.

This is what Hunslet is all about.

Couldn't agree more great turnout from players and coaching staff alike in it all together is what were all about.

For those that missed it - what a great day. I came over from the darkside to have a couple of hours and was great to see so many there. Was a few faces I expected to be there that wasn't but they might have come along later and bumped into some old mates and family who tbh used to be regulars at Hunslet that am hoping can be tempted back.

Seems lots of people were buying Hunslet stuff and have to say 2 Balls and 1 Rugby shirt plus several tom bolla prizes later we had spent up but had a nice couple of hours out.

On an o/t Castleford Hawk I was indeed that boy - Proud to say, also proud to say my little boy wanted to put his new Hunslet shirt on over his Leeds Utd shirt BUT he was a little freaked by Harry The Hawk lol.

Great to see Barry and the boys supporting the event and in good spirits - not like the Leeds Utds Fun day where apparently you weren't allowed to have your phots's taken with the players and they were treated like cattle.

All in All a great day, well supported and some top effort made by all that made it happen.

I was the guy that sold you the shirt and stuff yesterday. You'll have to get your lads name down for mascot next year - see if he can break your record for most runs up and down the pitch at half time. In fact you could get sponsored to see how many you could do these days. You'll get on that pitch yet !!!

Ha ha - well lets say great to meet again !! - Now that would be a spectacle to behold lol, am still playing and hate the thought of having to run 1 full length lol !!!!
