Thanks Lee, I will still make the games and it is really appreciated all the support given over the season. With work being so busy I just cannot give the job the attention it needs, it was a huge decision for me but the right one I think.

Now that you are a free man Mike it will be good to see you back on here more often.

Thank you for coming forward and giving your expertise and your help when the club needed it most, being a Director is a thankless job most of the time and I'm sure the majority of us have absolutely no idea of the time you have to give up to the role. I'm sure you will not be far away and be prepared to offer advice in an informal way when it's needed ;). If, in the future, you have a change of mind I'm pretty sure the door will be open to you to return. THANK YOU and good luck

Spot on SJD. You are quite correct that supporters have no idea of the amount of work involved in being on the BOD. To do the job properly it's a 24/7 commitment and the job is not without a fair amount of stress. It's very interesting to see how many people have served on the Board in the last 15 years and the period of time they have been members of the Board.

Many thanks for your time Mike and in particular coming in with a handful of others when the Club was in real crisis.

I'd also like to say thank you Mike. It's a real shame you couldn't see out the season.

Thanks guys. FB I would have loved to stay until the end of the season but my work load is just too great and I feel the next director of rugby needs to be involve in the formation of the team for next season. As I say it was not an easy decision for me as I am very proud and protective of the squad we have.
