I would also like Matt Calland, as I still believe the youngsters are key to the success of this club, Matt has the experience, know how and respect of the younger players and has amazing success at Hopwood Hall and Fax.

My choice would be....Dave Woods. History of getting the most out of clubs with limited budgets and getting promotion. Cas, Gateshead, York to name his successes. Good bloke to boot.

Can't argue with the comments above.

We were hoping for a decent appointment then and got the cheap option in TB.
I was warned at the time that he wasnt up to the job because he had a fantastic squad at leigh and made them look average.
I really cant see a decent coach coming because we havent got the money to pay for someone.
I think the best we can hope for is a SL reserves coach willing to drop down hoping to prove himself.

That I can think of:
Martin Crompton
Matt Calland
Warren Jowitt
Dave Woods
Martin Roden
Who would you have? Out of that list I'd probably go for Martin Crompton
Given todays performance,I refer thge right honorable gentlemen to my post a week ago.FIFY

I've had it on good authority this afternoon that neither Calland nor Goulding will be considered for the role.

Someone updated the rugbyleague project page of Ford yesterday and it says currantly coachs oldham .... It can't be refering to that time back in the early 2000's when he took the club for a short while. I thought Ford had gone to be an assitant coach at Bath RU but then again I could be wrong about it all.

It's hard to find news about the Roughyeds when you live so far away.
