First and foremost congratulations to all three Cumbrian clubs for gaining promotion in this crucial season. It was imperative for all three to go up this year to ease the financial burden of travelling and hopefully better gate receipts with the derby matches to keep ourselves viable in future years.when you look at the debacle this year with the RFL and Bradford you know were the Cumbrian teams stand.I can't recall the RFL stepping in post super league for town or more recently to help yourselves or Whitehaven to overcome our difficulties so the only people that will help our own clubs are Cumbrians no matter which is our preferred team. All the best for future years to our Cumbrian sides .

Totally agree.
Promotion for all 3 Cumbrian clubs was a must and its a massive relief that it's worked out well.
Next years comp will be much tougher and there should be some quality games as well as the Cumbrian derbies !
Let's hope all 3 clubs can prosper in the Championship and avoid relegation back to what will be the "league of death" !!!!!

thats right but i bet one or more of champ 1 teams fold. cant see likes of wales x2 or even oldham with whats going on at their club surviving. hope im wrong but look how desperate we were to get out of this league even with the home gates we get.

All clubs in both Championship and Championship 1 will feel the pinch next year with the nervy financial position we find ourselves in. Only the strongest clubs will succeed at the top of each league which takes not only a strong pack on the field but strong leadership and comitment from the Directors that push the clubs forward.
Carefull financial planning and Fund raising will be the key to survival and everyclub should be knocking on doors early .
