First and foremost congratulations to all three Cumbrian clubs for gaining promotion in this crucial season. It was imperative for all three to go up this year to ease the financial burden of travelling and hopefully better gate receipts with the derby matches to keep ourselves viable in future years. When you look at the debacle this year with the RFL and Bradford you know where the Cumbrian teams stand.I can't recall the RFL stepping in post super league to help Town or more recently to help Whitehaven or Barrow to overcome their difficulties so the only people that will help our own clubs are Cumbrians no matter which is our preferred team. All the best for future years to our Cumbrian sides.
