Carter on twitter reporting he's in hospital this morning having an operation on a layer of muscle in his groin . Hopes 2/3 weeks out. Rochdale maybe at a push ? POffs 16 Sep.

We are going to be seriously low on backs. Can't see Dawes making Sunday and calders will be a doubt. And with no Matty then it's going to be tough. Hopefully calders is fit and all the dual reg are back with us.
1. Miller
2.mossop
3.stack
4.Morris
5.calders
6.lupton
7.forber
8.coward
9.bamber
10.thacks
11.Phillips
12.shacks
13.olstrum

14.cotter
15.walne
16.annakin
17.whitehead

Not too bad of a side considering the injuries we have. And still should have plenty to beat a low on confidence Oldham. Remember we played 60minutes without matty and all game without Brett against barrow and still manage to outplay the 2nd best team in the league.

Matty ' sore ' and being monitored , so even if Sunday's a struggle hopefully it's not as bad as feared?

I'm starting to get a bit nervous about the Oldham game, with all these injuries we are picking up. We rode our luck for the best part of the season with injuries, but it looks like our lucks ran out.
Is Olstrum available this week ? Why wasn't he playing against Barrow ?

Yeh they're having an awful time , and I know we won there last year , but Oldham have been one of those teams for us in recent years !! Still , reading their forum and reports and with their form , they're gonna have to find something they haven't shown pretty much since march. And we have so much to play for now , which is a massive factor . I can't see anything else but a comfortable win to be honest. As any game with us - it's all about us... How we play.We have to be way off and them suddenly bang on - cant see both happening.

I would be more concerned if our forwards were the ones picking up knocks, Oldham don't have the flair players and will try and take us up the middle especially on there bloody awful pitch. So I see us overpowering them and with stack, thacks and Phillips on form we should dominate them.

I'm sure Dawes has done his ligaments and will be out a while, waiting for a scan.

No adam walne for Sunday as he's in the Salford squad, but Morris and anakin are available. Dawesy out for the season and matty being monitored so must have an outside chance of playing. I wonder if Patrick is still signed on? Or if he got released completely.

Will be ginge or cotter. Out of the 3 it's probably walne we can afford to lose. Was impressive last time out but we have cover there, and we certainly looked at our strongest with the coward and thacks combination.
