A lot of ex-Stanningley players; hence why Staningley had a poor start to the season.

The club is made up of Stanningley players who could not or would not committ to the summer season, they formed their own side last year and were allowed to enter the Leeds District Bartlett cup where they made it to the final, so as the Pennine management monitor new clubs they took on board the Leeds management advice.

Good side and good set of lads going by the Leeds cup.

I was thinking the same, I'd say from top down to the 2nd division there a good standard.

What impact do you think the proposed Barla winter National League will have at the top end . or do you feel that the clubs will stick to the tried and tested administration of the Pennine League ,given they are not likely to get a much more improved fixture list by stepping into the 'unknown ' with Barla ?

The Pennine I believe have been approached to run it and the rumour I've heard is that it could be 2013/14 season that it starts because they don't want to rush into it without having all the criteria in place first and potential pit falls ironed out, I'm sure they will use the NCL has their template, I think they also thinkl that if the NCL have a second season like the first they will have more applicants.

We are having our second run out this Friday against Doncaster Toll Bar, the side will again be a mixture of 1st & 2nd team players as we have a trip leaving Friday morning to Wembley.

The fixture secretary has been on holiday and got back Monday so probably right

thats why we played last week as we have that and a wedding and also a rest after 6 weeks without a game you get stiff easily

The new divisions are out with several teams moved including Clayton, Selby and Dearne Valley dropping a couple of divisions to regroup. What stands out to me is why are Knottingley Rockware Stolze in the Championship and if that really is Castleford Panthers' A team then they're in an awfully high division which makes me wonder if that's their first team? In which case it would be a bit low.
