IF Featherstone deny Sheffield a bonus point tonight AND we beat York, a bonus point at Halifax will guarantee finishing 4th and finishing above Sheffield. Even if we beat York and don't get a bonus at Fax, Sheffield would need to absolutely hammer Dewsbury on the last day if they don't get anything tonight.

Come on Rovers!!

The only thing i'm worried about is that they put us on the tv on the 6th September which would be a short turnaround after a very tough game at fax and would spell disaster for us. I'd also like to get to the playoff game(s) this year and not watch it on holiday again!

If Halifax win tomorrow, we need to win both games to finish 3rd. Tough task at the Shay but not unachievable either.

Unless Dewsbury pull off a shock against Sheffield. Hardly likely though.

I think being totally realistic 5th will be our finish as i have stuck with all along. We are just a little short this season bit like last really . We can compete with anyone on our day and always achieving a bonus point in defeat shows no one has taken us apart. It is now that the Swinton away defeat and Keighley at home have come home to bite us on the bum. Those 4 points would make all the difference.Hope i am wrong but i feel Halifax will have too much on atack in the last game and if other results go as i think they will it will be 5th. No disrespect to York but we should have enough to win that one. The bad news is it will probably be Sheffield away in the play offs. Think if we played them with the Australian test team they would beat us we havn,t beaten them since we won the Northern rail cup. Heres hoping my predictions are ###### and we make the grand final. Fingers crossed see you all at the love rugby stadium on Sunday.

After Leigh's win tonight and looking at Leigh's remaining fixtures at home to Keighley and "away" at Swinton. It is looking like the Halifax v Batley game will be a 3rd place decider.

Batley need to beat York by 33 points or more and win at Halifax to finish third above Halifax on points difference (even if they get the bonus point). This will give Batley the possibility of two home play off games.

Made up with tonights win.......win the last 2 games (Keighley and Swinton) and we finish 2nd. Fev will finish top but after watching them in the NRC and last night I have to say they are VERY beatable and are starting to wobble a bit.
