So. IF we win by a MINIMUM of 8 points at Halifax, we finish above them?

(Disclaimer: I don't have an updated table on my phone at the minute!)

By my reckoning (but could be wrong), any win against Fax means we finish 3rd.

A bonus point, barring Sheffield beating Dewsbury by about 100 points guarantees 4th.

Tough ask at the Shay but we are capable of doing it. 3rd and a game against Keighley who seem to have totally lost form would be ideal, with another home game to follow if we win.

Just checked the score centre on sky and Nick07 is right. A win and its 3rd. Big game and listening to Kear on WYS this evening he has been telling the players that play off football starts at the Shay. Good game today. Did a job that needed doing. Hope the York fullback is okay. Not good to see those injuries. Swinton to play Leigh is not a gimme for Leigh but looks like a shoot out for 3rd!!! Big Big Game on the 2nd.

Win and we finish third, lose and we finish 5th, unless Dewsbury do us a favour.

Apologies Vito, your quite correct. Had it for some reason that we were 2 points ahead of Sheffield rather than 1.

If he is Hull bound good luck to him. It will be nice to see SL clubs recruiting Championship players instead of overpaid and over the hill Aussies. We managed without him when he went to Sale and we will manage again. I find it funny that the they are interested in the 2nd best winger at the club however.....

I'm sure coolie said we wouldn't win the northern rail cup either when we did. If you don't set goals high you'll never achieve anything

Don't you just love these games, as JK says " Play off rugby starts here". In a one-off game I fancy our chances against anybody, even better if it's at The LoveRugbyLeague.com Stadium. At least we have summat to look forward to , more than most of our 'local' rivals------Again. ;) ;) ;) ;)

You're wrong you know - Our tactical manoevering out of a poinbtless end to a meaningless season, means I can now look forward to my holiday without worrying about missing any matches. ;)

So fifth it is then.

Sheffield at their place should be a pushover too, don't you think?

I know. Was a good game yesterday actually worth the £18 entry. I enjoyed that game a lot more than the York game even though we lost.

Well away at Sheffield. They always seem to find a way to beat us. Hopefully it's our turn next week.
