A few people (not all Batley fans) at the loverugbyleague.com stadium today brought up a theory that the result between the Eagles and Rovers was fixed to be a draw before the kick off.
Looking at it, 2 points for the Eagles are better than 1 or none. And Fev didn't need 3 to keep their position.
Thoughts?

Utterly ridiculous. Anyone who genuinely suggested that needs either sectioning or booking into AA classes.

Load of utter ballsack! I've heard many conspiracy theories, and that's probably the least believable of them all!! Who on earth suggested it? I guess Liam Finn and Brambani were deliberately missing all those desperate drop-goal attempts in the final two minutes just to make things look a little less fishy.

What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

It went around the nine hole this aft. I reckon by the way it did though, someone only thought it up whilst there drinking their free Carlsberg.

If Fev had won the game we would be guaranteed to be League Leaders. As it is we need to pick up at least a bonus point in our last fixture to be assured of finishing top so those people who suggested a fix need to have a re-think.
I suppose they believe there was a plot by the secret service to assassinate JF Kennedy too?

believe me, we were glad to hang on.
I were gutted for you. Sheffield were just way too strong for your towards the end. They looked more hungry for it!
