Had to happen, you cant run a pro rugby club in the Championship on 350 home fans, no doubt the stayaways in the pubs and clubs will be up in arms.Well its because of the non sporting public of South Leeds that this situation has arisen.Good luck with the venture, everyone else plays the dual reg card, about time we did.
But with Leeds? Surely any other SL team but them? What a sight it will be at the newly named "Gary Hetherington" stadium when the

If either club (and I thinking mostly of us
If Leeds have, say, a stand-off or a prop they want to give (non-SL) game time to, are we expected to drop Grimshaw or Yates to accommodate them ?
What if Leeds run into financial difficulties ?
And how many clubs do they want to "link" with? In recent years they've built "links" with York, with Whitehaven, with the new Gloucester club ... anyone would think they were feeling guilty about taking any quality youngsters that might develop in these places !
There's also been other "links" appear (and often disappear) in recent years; Rochdale and Bradford; Batley and Huddersfield; Leigh and Castleford; unless someone can tell me otherwise, I've never noticed any real benefit to the non-SL club, other than two or three dual-reg players when they're not required to play SL on any given weekend, and a pre-season friendly against their reserves (which we already have). My advice to the club on this one: be VERY careful ...

What other SL club could it have been?Your lot have played the dual reg with Hull and Cas all season.Even Fev do it with Briscoe and Ellis, about time we got on a level playing field.Grimmers passes to Jimmy Keinhorst and Jamal Chisholm should look good on the Huntington Cabbage Patch next season when we come to pick up the points ,with Richard Moore, Weller Hauraki and Ian Kirke leading the way up front.Right, wheres the bookies just looking to see if theres any prices on a certain team to finish top next year...
Glad your hanging on to your sence of hummour

Got to agree with you Steve next season is s h i t or bust for for all the bottom clubs in the championship and a winning team is a must there needs to be a new way forward both on and off the field to generate more support as this was not the case even when the Hawks won div 1 and moved into the championship. The spectator aspect did not improve the home support so if having young Leeds talent in the team improves the gates and this is what the board are trying to achieve then i for one am all for it forget the past and build for the future because if you dont sad to say you may not have a club to support which would be a shame as i know how passionate you people are at Hunslet get behind the club and and im sure the good times will return to this great and proud club.Had to happen, you cant run a pro rugby club in the Championship on 350 home fans, no doubt the stayaways in the pubs and clubs will be up in arms.Well its because of the non sporting public of South Leeds that this situation has arisen.Good luck with the venture, everyone else plays the dual reg card, about time we did.

Firstly congratulations on becoming a grandad! One idea for you guys would be to let Rhino season ticket holders in to your home games for , say £10? Might add a few to your gate and get you some second team fans?
