In recognition of the service of Gary Hetherington to Rugby League as from Season 2013, the club once known as Hunslet Hawks will now be known as Hetherington Hawks.

Initially the Hetherington Hawks will play at South Leeds Stadium until the end of the Rugby Union season, before moving to Headingley. A new playing strip will be unveiled Blue & Flame. The flame is to keep the tradition of the once proud Hunslet Club, although the colour will be more amber than flame.

For the Hetherington Hawks fans who may need transport to Headingley from South Leeds Stadium a motor bike and side car will be made available.

Gaz how can you find it clever to laugh at the club your supposed to support? I'm not overly happy about the partnership either but I wouldn't dream of taking pleasure out of York fans taking the pi*s

Gareth you never come to the matches so its about time you grew up and put your Teddy back in your cot.
Your not doing yourself or the club and favours just making yourslef look stupid we are all a bit bored of you now.
We will carry on supporting OUR club that we all love and i think something good could come out of this.
I also agree with Maaca about the sour grapes. T

Thanks for the opinion, means a lot ;-) god forbid someone should have an opinion that differs from hist or anyone else on the forum, what's the world coming to! Macca knows me so well so its undoubtedly sour grapes...!!

Your only on the forum to stir sh*t up. To be honest I'm not really bothered what you think. You rattle on about this being a bad move loaning players off the whinos. Well maybe it might be but it's fans like you who haven't been in years who've put the club in this position but your the 1st to jump on the bandwagon slagging off what hist are trying to do.

I'm on the forum the same reason as everyone else, because its a forum, a place for opinions!
I never realised the position the club is in is my fault, that's why I come on here too, you find out things you didn't know!

I work with your kid and I've been trying to get him to come down to games again after staying away but he won't until P&R return. He was going to come to York a week on Sunday but he has a gig. I'm working on him though!

I work with your kid and I've been trying to get him to come down to games again after staying away but he won't until P&R return. He was going to come to York a week on Sunday but he has a gig. I'm working on him though!
