to our R25 tipping competition
Everyone is welcome to enter.

There's a full set of eight games again this week.
There are therefore no byes and there aren't any more in the regular season.

Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round
The first game this round is on Friday 24th August

ROUND 25 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Which Round 25 game will produce the biggest margin of victory?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now for the main event of the week:
*Match Tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 25 2012
*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R25?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.
*Home Win Competition:
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R25?

In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:



Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores are added together to produce the Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page.

Never seen such agreement in our tipping comp!
Only RF has differed in choice from the rest of us, and then only by one result.
Even Barney using his lucky mittens has come up with the same list of teams, hardly worth wearing them! Maybe it's just a fashion statement by the great man.
Hope you enjoy the Challenge Cup final at Wembley RF.

The Round 25 competition is up and running.

The Friday results:

Raiders 34 - 6 Bulldogs - didn't see this one, Bulldogs squashed putting an end to their winning sequence
Sea Eagles 16 - 6 Broncos - Manly scored all their points in the first half and were pretty ordinary in the second half
These two results make the finals series look a lot less cut and dried. Broncos' loss means they might actually finish outside the 8.

As for our R25 comp - the Sea Eagles v Broncos result means that top scorers are everybody bar RF (Sorry RF ) - we've all gone for the same teams in the rest of the R25games.

Dragons 38 - 6 Warriors - Dragons made the most of their opportunities; Warriors tackling not good
Panthers 36 - 22 Titans - Didn't see this one; Titans' hopes of making the play-offs dented
Cowboys 22 - 14 Knights - Close game Matty B and JT had good games
That's 5/5 home games so far with three R25 games to play

Who would ever put any money on Tigers?
They are predictable only for their unpredictability.
Up to now we've two games producing equal biggest margin of victory: Dragons v Warriors and Rabbitohs v Eels - margin of 32 points
All 7 games to date have been home victories.
Points total so far with one game to go: 308

Storm handling very poor. Their completion rate has been terrible. Sharks not much better, but enough to go in a couple of points up at half time.
Gallen working faces on the floor when tackling.

Gallen the super suck spend the entire 80 minutes chewing the refs ear & whining about every single call against the Sharks.
Not hated having sports ears before but Gallens voice is grating & whiney
