I don't know and like most people on here could only idly speculate. The style of attacking play under PB has been refreshingly more adventurous although the defence seems to have gone awry. his impact over two games can't have been immense but was still noticeable. Depending upon who else applied i would be quite happy for him to get the job, although I don't believe there has ever been any "done deal". If there was then he would simply have been appointed without the rigmarole on advertising, interviewing etc.
More importantly which players will we retain/recruit for next season (assuming that we don't become Wakefield's second team)? Seemingly reliable rumour is that Craven has already agreed to join Fev and maybe we can persuade them to take Esders off our hands too. A strong rumour, possibly just tittle-tattle, was that Walker is going to switch to RU. More will come out in the wash, no doubt.

Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

Patch's big brother played for clecheaton fourth team for a while, so maybe it is true - but TBH he doesn't have the out of hand kicking game to be effective in the better levels. Have a feeling he'll be the first to put pen to paper.

It says on the Dewsbury Reporter website that the announcement of the coach will be during a Fan's forum on the same day,is this true? The club haven't said anything about this.

Hello rams fans, I'm new to the forum and I am also a rams fan (south stander) and I'd just like to add I have heard several rumours that Francis Cummins and Francis Maloney will take over at Dewsbury in the new season, does anyone reckon this is true, or just rumours?

Have the current set-up left their positions at Wakefield? It would be one hell of a risk to take if they have as they could be out of the game for sometime if they don't get the nod

apparently there are no contracts there at the moment so no guaranteed income so might explain why he is a suprise applicant .

Will be more crossing of the "white line" if Francis Maloney comes on board.

Broadbent might be in pole position, but I don't think it's a done if it is why didn't mark just say he has got the job full time? Why go round the houses talking about interviews he wouldn't have any thing to lose by coming out and saying Paul is the new coach.

Mark is probably just going though the motions with broadbemt. I know I have been talking a lot of hear-say but me and another guy in the south stand agreed its what will most likely happen
