I'd say that the guys and gals who have jumped ship are probably good people and time will tell if they have been sold a dud!

Thatto Heath Crusaders 24-12 Leigh East

Heath add the CYL Trophy to the National Cup and 2011 CYL Championship. Some outstanding talents that will be playing a lot more NCL rugby very soon! Congratulations lads! With a bit of luck some teams may actually have the bottle to start turning up and play them in the league!

Talking of bottle, it was not very brave of the Thatto number 6 blatantly stamping on the Leigh East player on the floor. If anyone wants to see it here's the link to the National youth league video highlights, take a look 55 seconds in, absolutely discraceful, the Leigh player was mentioned in his preview by the Thatto coach as one to watch out for, coincidence?. This must have been seen by many league officials in the video as it's so blatant, he could have broken the lads ankle with this cowardly act, so my question is, are the league going to do anything about it?

Lets just wait for it to become official then and you can retract the above.

Also, whilst 2 or 3 teams did fold for the reasons you state the other 7 or 8 within the now 16's - 18's, soon to be 8 or 9, did'nt and were a direct result of the new playing season or very relaxed transfer rules in which you had a significant role at 13's - 15's.

Anyway, when it is official you can go and tell their coach its nothing to do with how you handled the transfers out from them during the time they spent at 13's - 15's or the new March - November season, I'm sure he will appreciate that after all the effort he and the club he is part of has put in over the years.
