Yep his dad told me the same, but he still comes and watches Batley and supports us when £ax aren't playing. Good on him.

Karl Harrison was talking to my dad in the Nash in batley at the start of the season and he said he also offered ash lindsey double his current pay to join fax but he wouldn't leave. Fax have offered players a lot more than batley will. And no-one is blaming them for going. No-one is happy about dane being injured.
The reason you don't say the same about Ben Black is quite simple. Because it isn't true.

I was talking to someone's dad's brother's daughter's friend last week and she told me that all players who leave Batley have to be dragged out kicking and screaming, some of them under anaesthetic. Many have never fully recovered. FACT!
Believe what you see, don't see what you believe.

The way we have to deal with it is to pretend we offered the unwanted players a new contract via their agent, and then blame them for not responding. Best thing to do then is send them to Dewsbury with the thought in their head that if Rams sign them, they WILL beat Batley.

Wasn't one of the reasons that Ben Black left 'Fax that he wasn't getting paid consistently? If this is the case then in a way then he did come for the money!

Don't bet against seeing him run out for them on Sunday afternoon. If someone's prepared to tell porkies about how Dane Manning sustained a broken jaw, then you've got to wonder as to what depths they would stoop to try and fool the opposition. I'll bet my bottom dollar that John Kear is still preparing a gameplan that includes trying to nullify Handforth on Sunday.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

So how did Dane get his injury then if not in a game?
