That Ruth Goodman scares the bejesus out of me.

She looks 900 years old.

She's very good at this sort of programme, though.

Anyone else see the new series 'Crackanory' on Dave last night? I quite enjoyed it.

I quite enjoyed By Any Means - total nonsense I know but enjoyable enough if you just put your brain into neutral and coast through for an hour.

It certainly put the 'mindless' into mindless entertainment. I'll give them that.

Argh...  too many things to watch, not enough time!

So far, the programmes outstanding are:

4 episodes of American Horror Story

7 episodes of Criminal Minds, mind you this is one mainly for the wife

3 episodes of Dracula

3 episodes of Grimm

The entire first season of Hannibal

5 episodes of Ray Donovan

5 episodes of Sleepy Hollow

4 episodes of The Walking Dead

And that doesn't include the dross the wife watches that's building up to be watched.  It's at the stage now that it'll take a couple of weeks off to catch up without becoming a complete couch potato.

Of course she is. She undoubtedly has a black cat and broomstick.

After the relentless eat/sleep/league/repeat since the RWC started, the last few days has seen me looking to the TV schedules and wondering why there's nothing I want to watch.

Sorted.

That's fair enough, the problem is that the wife doesn't like watching zombie stuff before bed and on many nights it's gone 9-10pm by the time we've tea out the way and settled down enough to watch telly.  That leaves the weekends and too many times lately we've been off doing things on the weekend.

And that's the only one I watch out of your list!

Instead of being over-faced, just simply decide what you actually want to watch, it's remarkably easy to drop things you weren't that bothered with anyway (you just watched it cos you wtched it).

I learnt that the hard way after perservering with Heroes. <_<

You know the really scary thing? According to Wikipedia she is a year younger than me!

Sounds like she's been moisturising then. I assumed she was older.

Nigel Lawson is on QT. He looks like Mrs Doubtfire.

I also suspect he dyes his hair.
