Heads up! Tonight on BBC4 at 9pm, Muscle Shoals: The Greatest Recording Studio in the World.

Spoiler: it's very good, despite the occasional appearance of Bono.  ;)

Maybe he went on a tour there.

Mott the Hoople documentary on BBC4 now. Top stuff

Saw that the other week. Great band that I didn't appreciate when they were great.

I quite enjoy Call the Midwife.

There I said it.

Miranda Hart and Judy Parfitt were excellent in tonight's series finale.

If you've never read Ian Hunter's book 'Diary of a Rock 'n' Roll Star', do it! An excellent read.

I've given up on True Detective ... can't understand about one sentence in three of the dialogue that is being spoken in an emphasised southern accent..

The problem I have with my TV viewing at the moment is trying to fit 8 NRL games into just 7 days without my better half saying "Not rugby again!"

I was going to watch it but then one of my kids managed to delete the series from the Sky box.  I'm quite relieved now.  Seems a bit overdone.

Live from Space, really enjoying this show.  Also enjoyed Stargazing live earlier in the year.

Proper TV shows!

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

I must say I'm thoroughly enjoying Silk again this series. I find it compelling watching and think the acting from the lead characters superb.

It really isn't my kind of programme, but that's a quality cast there.

Started watching W1A by accident but I reckon it's pretty good. The girl who used to be Cheryl in the Royle Family is great.

Good cast there. Hugh Bonneville, Nina Sosanya, Jessica Hynes.

I have been enjoying W1A, but it's very close to disappearing up it's own backside at times.
