It makes you wonder just what the contract contained when Gailer has had it a week or more and not signed it because of a couple of points he wanted cleared up!!!!!
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Keith I bleive one of the condition was tow players HAD to be offered new contracts and Don did not want these two players.Gailer is in France at the moment but Radio Cumbria's John Cox has just said that Calvin told Gailer by telephone in Paris that there was no longer a new contract for him.

Not only were they beaten well by the Skolers, there were players behaving like drunken yobs, club members and players slagging off the coach on twitter, friction between fans and directors (not you Goodwin, your just Duran's stooge), I'm sure there's more to come
