As we could finish 3rd can someone please tell me when the play off start, and do we have a game at home on September 8th.? If third that is.

It seems highly probable,Andy, that we will finish 3rd and Oldham will finish 6th which means that we will play Oldham at Craven Park,I think,on 9th September.
If on the other hand we beat Scorpions, Skolars beat Doncaster and Workington lose to Rochdale we will be Champions. All very unlikely. We might finish 2nd and that changes things again.

We play Doncaster on 16th September away and the winner goes straight to the grand final,if we are defeated get a second bite of the cherry and I would say that we would probably face Town at home on the 23rd Sept?
Please correct me if i'm wrong?

The Doncaster game is a win win for Barrow. We win and we're straight through to the final with the chance to win 20k. If we lose we play Workington at home likely, have a 2K maybe 2.5k crowd which will probably result in us getting 20k off the gate anyway as long as it isnt split and even then I think we're more likely to beat Workington so we could just be in the final anyway.
Would losing be better financially?

It would be great if your thoughts were to happen but I wouldnt bank on us getting over 2k attendance or beating Worky the way we performed on sunday especially as they will be back to near full strength by then as well.
Im looking forward to the games though cant beat this type of cup tie rugby with sides of similar quality and even though we have played poorly in the last few games (since promotion was achieved) im sure we can raise our game against the top sides !

As far as I'm aware gate income will be split in every match in the play offs. It has been in the past.

lets go for it at donny i say, about time we gave a good account of our selves against them. they only just beat us last time and we were poor .cant rely on second bites of cherry. look at the last few games. we only had to get a result at rochdale and look what happened.

Arnt workys dual reg lads gone now? Ours are aswell but we weren't very reliant on them. Obviously going to lose would be foolish, but it won't be a disaster if we lose. We can beat Worky and Donny home and away if we play well, but we haven't been playing well for a few weeks to be fair.

Our dual reg lads have now gone except Petersen who has been with us all season. Two of the other 3 have only played a couple of games and Annikin played in about 4 so they were not classed as regulars. We got them in to fill in due to injuries and they all did well for us. Some good games coming up!!
