The leagues a little clearer now. Town cannot now exceed 42 points. Raiders will be 45 if they beat Scorpions and Doncaster 43 or 44 if they lose to Skolars. Could get £50,000 yet but unlikely.

Skolars have a real chance of making the play offs and they have shown they can play a bit.
Doncaster will be more worried about Skolars than we are about S .Wales.

Town now have 40 pts with getting a bonus point tonight so can still finish on 43.

town went to gateshead thinking a win but by how many. lets not make the same mistake with s wales.clarky will have em fired up for it and they have a better win record than gateshead. first win in 64 games. couldnt believe it .lol. but seriously no slip ups. im sure donnys coach will have looked at tonights score and will be banging the drum in their run up to the game with skollers.lets rattle the roof on sunday and push the raiders on. im sure if donny start getting updates from craven park it will put the pressure on them and we all know what pressure does.. just ask a town player ...........

Correction, Town team would go to Gateshead thinking they could win it was only the fans who thought they could have a big win. That was until the team was announced with players out of position -Calderwood at full-back, Stack at stand-off, Olstrum at hooker - one one wing we brought 35 year old Frazer out of retirement and on the other was 17 year old prop Jack Gaskell. We only had 15 fit players and in order to avoid a fine for not having 17 players we named Rooney and Dawes on the bench even though they were never going to play. No Carter, No Miller, No Phillips, No Mattinson, No Lupton, only one of our 4 dual reg players (Annikin) so no No Petersen, No Morris, No Walne, No Bainbridge but yes we still expected to win with what we had available.

I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

The excitement got to me that's how I got the calculation wrong. Of course Town can and should be able to get 43 points. All 3 could yet end up with 43 but Donny would win on points difference.Best Town can do is finish 2nd.
