A good signing in my opinion, always gives one hundred per cent and Not had the best of luck with injuries.A useful squad player in my view.

Well, after tonight's meeting it would seem that 11 players are now signed up (correct me if I missed any!).

JK also said that they were currently speaking with Rob Foxen, Ian Watson, David Mills, Karl Ashall, Ian Mort and Holland....and AJ Higson (both Foxen and Higson are due or have just had surgery on their respective injuries).

Tom Armstrong apparently has the opportunity to go to SL. But he is yet to make a decision due to his work towards his degree.

JK also said we're in talks with Rob Broughton who is Jodie Broughton's (Salford) brother.

I've probably missed some. I didn't hear anything on Gavin Dodd, Danny Meakin, McConnell, Andy Gorski as far as I can remember.

Sorry, I've updated my original post. I don't think it's the lad from Oldham. JK just said Chris Clarke, and he gave no background on him, whereas he gave us a bit of info on the other new signings.

We'll see as soon as we get an update I assume. Either way, we've signed someone called Chris Clarke!

11 players isn't a bad start. At least 7 from last year are in negotiations.

Hopefully Mills, Holland and Meekin will sign up again. I expect there will also be more new signings, especially in the forwards!

I was serious, now the sl season is over with Tony Smith will sit down with his coaches and discuss which u23 players they want to retain and send to swinton, SM will then work out what other players he needs to make up his squad
