At the end of an up and down season we reach the final match still needing a win to make sure of the play-offs.With five players out through suspension and others out for injuries and pre booked holidays there will be a very different and youthful team taking the field on Sunday but a team that can win and play entertaining Rugby League. We need to get up to Workington and get behind the team as we have all season and cheer them onto victory.

I'm afraid I can't make it this weekend on health grounds and probably have seen my last game of this season. Not a bad way to go out though by stuffing Barrow!

Town are in as much trouble as you with 1 suspended, 8 first teamers out through injury and dual reg players not even getting a mention. Could be a very interesting game, chances are if you win you will be back up to derwent park in a weeks time facing a completely different team. Enjoy your trip up

I wonder if we could agree with the RFL to play this as a game of 9`s, its about all both clubs can muster I think

That's one reason I'm glad JS never went down the road to having duel registration players it becomes a farce,at least we can bring players up from the U23s.

We have some great talent in the U23s and
quite a few who will have no problem stepping up to the first team if needed : )

A local lad Alex West 19 who has played for the Cobras and under 23s, at centre will make his debut for Hornets on Sunday.
Good luck Alex.
A large VAT Dave please.
