Hey, thanks for locking my thread on the radio! At least it got folks talking about Sunday's game - a topic that is otherwise conspicuous by its absence on here! ;)

On a more serious note, I believe it's in evryone's interests for Swinton to remain at LSV until their new stadium is finished.

In Swinton's case, they have somewhere nearby to call 'home' - temporarily. And I'll be as pleased as any Swinton fan to see them get a new home of their own. I'm old enough to remember them at Station Road, when they were a force to be reckoned with - at the top of RL. They have performed miracles to stay in existence since Station Road, and deserve to succeed once again.

In LSV's case, Swinton bring much-needed revenue to the table.

And finally, in Leigh's case, revenue to LSV indirectly helps our cause, as LSV are a major stakeholder in the future of our club.

We are the only two 'Lancashire' teams in this league, so let's all get along (and co-operate!) with each other, during our co-tenancy at LSV.

Looking forward to the game.
I hope that there's a bit of recognition for cunniffe and Morrison.
Think Leigh will win but I'm hoping for a closer game than last time

Glad to hear the Swinton game is on GMR seeing as I won't be able to get upto Workington to watch Hornets. Excellent.

Reading the Leigh forum and bits on Facebook. Swintons efforts to unsettle Leigh club and players has certainly fired up the fans. Hope the swinton officials have got earplugs.

Sorry folks, no forecast comp this year

Won't unsettle the players Derek - but it just may give them a bit of extra motivation!

"I'm old enough to remember them at Station Road, when they were a force to be reckoned with - at the top of RL" Blimey! you must be almost as old as I am (Lions in the '60s etc - what heaven it surely was).

''Lancashire' teams" Good-on-yer pal! none of this Greater Manchester nonsense. Only thing "Greater Manchester" is valid for is perhaps as a police force, a fire brigade etc, etc.
Bring back the old county cups I say, I say, I say.
