Well done to Baz and the lads for today's win, great effort to avoid finishing bottom of the league! 2012 has been a tough year for the club, but the structures been put in place off the field and the valuble experience gained on the field will stand the club and team in good stead for 2013 and beyond!

Guys
Well done today not finishing bottom, to be honest though what an awful game played between two very very poor sides, admittedly Knights were worse than your lads but do you honestly think next season you will be any better given that you have signed a high percentage of the same squad up for next year ?
Awful end to a dour season for us, roll on a new coach, new squad, fresh season and the pressure of relegation to keep sides on their toes.

A few new signings in key areas, 4 dual reg players and a fit Danny Grimshaw, I think we will be ok Andy.

The end of a long hard season for both sides yesterday. And to be honest if a neutral had come to the match without looking at the table, he would probably have guessed they were the bottom two in the league - too many basic errors and wrong options from both teams, including us spurning two golden opportunities when clean through in the first half, that would have had us out of sight by half-time.
And so, despite looking comfortable for nearly the entire match, we ended up hanging a bit in the last five minutes. Thought Oakesy and Marchy were the pick of our side, and Sullivan had an excellent game in York colours.
Roll on 2013, and let's hope it's kinder than 2012 for both clubs.

A big well done especially to our fans who have stuck by the club.
Unless I've missed something 4 of our 5 tries were scored by players we haven't yet signed for next season--- I would like to see Welham, Ratcliffe and Lowe in next years squad plus the Rhinos lads, and 2 or 3 new faces-- Grimshaw and Ratcliffe would take care of our attacking play, but a big job for our coaching team must be defence-- to conceed over 30 points a game won't be good enough for next year.
