A big well done to everyone today.Nice to see Dave P back in Towns colours and scoring another belter try. I hope we dont see much of Mr Laughton next season ,as he baffles me with his interpetation of the rl rules
Thanks for the roller coaster of a season Town, roll on the play offs .

You can't underestimate the difference Petersen and Olstrum make. They give us such starch and direction as well as skill. Dave is just in everything and Olstrum is just so direct and strong. With Carter , Miller and hopefully Matty theres cause for optimism . Looks like its Oldham again !
Ronnie was bizarre, and Thacks as usual was giving it large . He's really gonna have to watch that. Most bizarre was Rochdale penalty to touch and we get a scrum...All the best it's all there for us still , although got to try and eliminate those sloppy patches and plays and soft tries of recent games.

The bizarre penalty was because the winger was a couple of yards in front of the kicker. In any other circumstance I would have said it should have been a penalty to us but Laughton gave a scrum in our favour!!!!!

We played a lot of good rugby today and some good backing up after starting rather slow. One young man who is becoming one of my favourites is Chris Annikin. The lad is not the biggest of forwards but he makes yards every time he gets the ball and a;ways puts in 100%. I was disappointed when he was subbed because I think he is a lad of the petersen mould who will run all day.

Olstrum was excellent today and all the forwards ran with a bit more determination. I thought the patched up Hornets gave a good account for themselves and Roper did more today than I ever saw him do when he was at Town!!!!
I remember when .............................

Yeah we played well in patches considering the team we had. You get what you get with Lawton but on the whole he let's the game flow until he has another brain spasm and blows his whistle for 5 mins solid. Thacks was best mates with him by the end! Lol.
Plenty of good performances from our lads, I think Olstrum was head and shoulders above anyone else.
Was amazed they didn't bomb Calderwood once.
We owe Oldham one so I'm pleased its them, then hopefully the noisy neighbours!
UP THE TOWN!
The race is not always to the swift nor the battle to the strong, but thats the way to bet!

I was a long way away and maybe my eyes were deceiving me , but early in the second half it looked like Dave was tackled near our line and a Hornit laid two punches into
him ?? Ronnie dragged Ginge n Stack out !!

Ginge came in and gave the Hornet player a dig that's all. Laughton talked to Ginge with Stack there as captain. He then spoke to the Hornet's offender and gave Town the penalty. Handbags really!!!!!!!

I heard he wouldnt go to the jam while a certain person is there, who still is there. IMO we should match any offer the jam make. How many of there fans said they wouldnt want him back? the knicker sniffer is one. We need him next season. Nice to be on my feet again what was today like and what the hell happened at gateshead

Yep Olstrum tremendous, him and Peterson were bouncing them off all match, but no problems with Forber getting MoM, he had a good game. Good to see Patrick back and playing well. All round improved performance but just shows how a few errors can quickly shift momentum. Credit our defence though.

Looks like we might be back to just about full strength for the play-offs. Faith and Hope start to show their face again.

Star websites on the ball ... Farrer scored that scorching try in the corner not Gus. Great game Farrer had then...gee whizz.
