I'm very surprised there are no messages at all following todays game. I don't think it was that bad. LOL

Sorry, but I did Michael, our tackling was atrocious. We made them look good. We were 18-4 up after 14 minutes but went steadily downhill from there.

Yep, not good. Not a bad crowd though 1245. If ( when pessimist) we lose at the keepmoat we should have a bumper crowd at home to bring in some extra much needed cash

The Barrow fans are a fickle bunch, most of the season people have been happy yet today Barrow were #######, a disgrace etc... Teams can't play to their best all the time, it just doesn't work like that. At the start of the season the aim was simple, get promotion. Today's performance was very flat, but slagging the players off from the terraces doesn't help. I actually thought South Wales improved a hell of a lot defensively during the game as early on Barrow were ripping them to shreds.

Very fickle??? We are paying supporters and we were rubbish yesterday and we have the right to say so.

we have got away with some results this season. well done on promotion but my worry is that if we get battered next season in a couple of games the fans who have been used to winning ways might in times of these financial times think twice about spending 30 or 40 quid on match days.so lets build for next season and back our team to the hilt. im sure holty and acky would admit they have made some management mistakes this season and will also learn like the players will.lets go to donny and put the last few results behind us.

Apparently Scorpions had 5 Neath rugby union players in there squad, as well as 5 players
on loan from Wigan.
How did they wangle that ?

Looking at the team list and then comparing it with the players profiles on the South Wales web-site I can only find 3 dual registration (season long from Wigan) in Gil Dudson, Rhodri Lloyd and Matt Crow.
Some of the others had played rugby union at some stage in the Neath area but I can find none that have recently played for Neath R.U.F.C. The vast majority seem to have been playing rugby league for some time.
I too heard the rumours of vast imports of Wigan players but it would appear they have played by the same rules as everyone else in having 3 dual reg. players - as Barrow have.
I am just glad we got the win and that they got the bonus point their efforts deserved. I thought the 18 year old half back Courtney Davies had an outstanding game for them and is one to watch for in the future.
