My memory may be failing me but I seem to remember a season when we won the cup and our league attendances were shocking but that was down to lousy play throughout the season. I may be wrong but I thought donny did the double over us that year.

seem to remember us loosing at home to Doncaster in 1967 on bitter night

Yes, we did lose to Doncaster the season we won the cup, but it was '67, not '83. I can remember the mickey taking from the Cas fans at schoo, but I got my own back when we beat them in the cup quarter final.

Did we play them the year after in the cup (1968) in a mud bath at Doncaster and win 4 v 3 or was that just a bad dream that I had??
