If the NCL vote in a NCL3 will the NCL Committee lose control to the RFL (Or are they already under their control) as the new RFL friendly clubs coupled with the clubs who seem to be getting favours such as elite junior team building will vote in the RFL direction (Will they vote your right to change rules and self govern away like the NWC Youth/Juniors).

A good example of divide and conquer is the division of BARLA by the RFL into the community game, once this had been done the RFL simply gave the English School, Universities, Armed Forces and RLC much more aid than to their BARLA counterparts as well as constantly telling them BARLA is pi ss poor.

On the back of this IMO the RFL have got what they wanted with little regards to who fell by the wayside as their only intrest is the elite end of the amateur game which now seems clear as they are withdrawing aid (Development Officers) from the outposts.

Marauder, that first paragraph is really confusing!

Are you asking "If the NCL vote in a NCL3, will the NCL Committee lose control to the RFL"?

Doubt Wigan St Cuthberts, Pilkington Recs, Hindley, Kells etc if they get in have that different a view on the RFL than existing clubs to be honest.

There will be stronger support for summer, but the Cumberland League proves that you can play summer without being under RFL control

To be truthful one of your old statements on this subject got me thinking about this and all I've done is waited to ask the question, as for the Cumberland league they are only giving the summer a trial, I'm not sure how long for but they could always switch back whenever they like without any pressure from BARLA.

I think it will make things more pro summer but not necessarily more pro RFL. Same if some clubs returned to winter.

I'd like to hear the views of people involved with the NCL clubs and are they aware of the divided and conquer policies of the RFL.

Yes, clubs are aware of several things , some of which are yet to emerge into the open.

The delegate vote for new entrants isn't until the 17th, so there's a couple of weeks to mull over the new candidates

I've heard rumours of very radical proposals by the RFL that the NCL committee or clubs would never in a million years accept but I don't think the new clubs would change that.

Yep it's old ground for the RFL as they have met with resistance before, all they do is go away target the weak, pay them off and when they believe they have the upperhand bring back the same policy but in a different dress.

If you've not noiced the laws and rules regarding permit players have started to get quoted a little on here, is this the build up to the RFL to say our leagues our laws because after the signing of the MOU and club partnership agreements control has been passed to the RFL.

The NCL is run by a dedicated commitee of first class administrators who will always keep control of the league and if the RFL want something that is bad for there members it will be rebuked!

If you say MOU three times im sure Lord Charlss will appear!

Like permit players and elite building juniors and the lowering of the criteria so a NCL3 can be formed to cater for the expansion clubs who may not be ready for the championship1...............................................................................OK B)

The RFL never wanted expansion clubs in the NCL. They wanted a separate southern conference

No. The RFL wanted the NCL to be restricted to northern clubs after the summer switch.

Alahshazam....................Piff, Paff, Puff.................Somebody mention the MOU :D

Any League that has signed the MOU cannot simply "rebuke" anything they do not agree with, I think you will find it is not that straight forward, if it was then the MOU would not be worth creating in the first place would it?

Initially it was termed as being a "Licence" so that should tell you something!

Very good question seeing as some Regional Leagues never asked the clubs to vote if they should agree to it or sign it, or indeed even informed the clubs that they had signed it on their behalves!
