We would just like to thank all the Swinton fans for supporting Ian's testimonial during the course of the season.

Again today many of you were extemely generous noth putting in to the bucket collection and also those who stayed behind and went upstairs for the race night. As soon as we have a final figure on that we will post it on here.

I know many of the fans who went up enjoyed the fact they could mingle with the players and perhaps the club could arrange similar events next year so that the fans can continue to meet the next set of Lions players.

The next event on the calender will be a ladies evening in late November to be held at the Swinton Golf Club, details to follow.

We are still trying to formulate Ian's testimonial game and again as soon as we can we will let you know full details.

For now on behalf of Ian we again thank everyone, your support is greatly appreciated.

As promised we can now let everyone know that yesterdays Collection and function raised £770.84 gross.

A big thank you to everyone who donated and who placed bets at the race night.

Also worth mentioning that some of the players I spoke with enjoy interacting with supporters,it's something we've not had since we played at Sedgley.
