heard one or two whispers at the rams game yesterday that you have offered him a contract for next season?,if true you have got a quality player n will be a big loss to us,wonder if anybody will be going in the opposite direction, which seems to be the norm over the last couple of seasons, would like to see ash lindsey at the rams, total grafter n quality player, time will tell

The form ash has been in over the last few weeks would have me hoping that the club will look to secure him for another season. He has been outstanding and back to his best.
As for Faal, he would be a very welcome addition to our back line as he has pace and power.
Let's hope the rumours are true

Since his return following his couple of games "rest", Ash has shown better form than for a long time, IMO. Well worthy of a contract offer for next year. Whether he will sign it or sees greener pastures elsewhere only time will tell.

Thing is with Ash, he loves it at Batley. I seem to remember Widnes came in for him a few seasons back. And do you remember the time he decided to retire? That was around 5 years ago and he's still here!

I do hope ash signs on for next season. He had a great game yesterday. Back to his best. Only time will tell I guess.

Lest we forget, our old friends at Halifax tried to lure Ash Lindsay at the end of last season onto the Shay gravy train - more money, better deal etc. Ash turned them down to remain at the Mount. I doubt he'll be going anywhere unless he's told he's not wanted (unlikely) or he retires. He was immense yesterday IMO.

Agreed Robin. With a bit of luck he'll stick around for another year.
Started the season slowly but been great for the last 2 months and back to his best. Was awesome yesterday.
A proper old fashioned player, hard as nails and brave as hell. Been incredibly loyal too as he's had plenty of better financial offers during his time with us.

Does that mean he's taking Mauns place? Heard he's not signed a contract yet?
