You'll have to work hard for it . Are you going to be at full strength. How many of your players that are dual reg that can't play ?

The irony is we lost 4 grand finals and it's now possible that we could end up winning the fifth when it doesn't count!!!!!! The life of a Roughyed is not a happy one:-( So it might be better to put us out of our misery at the first round!

yes , im making no predictions , i know Oldham are much improved , but i think theyll find a different team this time -
literally and performance wise. We rely mainly ( generally of course, in terms of matchwinning ) on 8 key players in Carter, Miller , Dave , Matty , Stack
Phillips ,Jamie and Olstrum , and in recent times we havent got those on the pitch together. When theyre on board
we are a match for anyone, we play faster and have more threat , and the team as a whole functions better. If theyre all playing sunday we should be ok. Key players win big games and we have more than most.
Carter,Miller,Patrick,Mossop,Calderwood,Dave,Forber,Thackray,Mattinson,Coward,Phillips,Stack,Olstrum. ( Mcdonald ,Shackley & 2 ).
if we cant diddle the dualreg ...

Well you'll have no need to worry this year. ;) ;)
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

He' s a championship ref , and whatever his foibles he's better than a lot of the poor and weak nobodies weve had this year .I think were finally
strong enough again to take the officials out of it anyway.

Regardless of that if he does have a poor game then there'll be and outcry, why don't the RFL use a bit of common sense and remove the potential issue

Let's hope that the numbskulls who verbally abused him last time have learned a lesson and the same for our players no brawls this week please.

Bentham, Ganson etc ref there home Town teams and those they class as rivals so we cant expect the RFL to bow down for Workington, we just have to accept that Gareth is refereeing and get on with it, hes a good referee and if we get beat he should not be a factor
Forget Chuck and Chad I am the real legend killer
