Not so much a re-shuffle as re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Half way though their (one term

I really don't think the NHS is the uppermost priority for a Tory led cabinet.

Baroness Warsi has been relieved of her post and doesn't seem to have been offered anything else.
Tactical error by the posh boys?
Gove keeps his job. Cameron needs him to carry on as a whipping boy to deflect some of the flak that would otherwise be concentrated on Osborne.
No news on Vince Cable yet.

Hunt is still regarded as an up and coming MP...no really... could be a sign that Lansleys one man campaign/plan against the NHS is over?
Biggest bad news is grayling at justice.

With the best, thats a good bit of PR, though I would say the Bedford team, theres, like, you know, 13 blokes who can get together at the weekend to have a game together, which doesnt point to expansion of the game. Point, yeah go on!

Hunt is a stand-back and watch man. That's all the new Health Secretary has to be.
Under the new system none of the important boards report to the Health Secretary, they report directly to parliament.
His only real area is public health, i.e. awareness and nudging.

David Laws has reportedly been made an education minister!
He should be doing a spell in Her Majesty's Prison not Her Majesty's Government!

The Head of Netball (Justine Greening) has got moved out of Transport. That'll teach her to oppose the Heathrow 3rd runway. Villiers has gone too, doesn't say who the replacement is. Doesn't really matter. Transport ministers come and go every five minutes; of all the ones we (The Transport Industry, that is) had to deal with in the last 30 years, only Adonis ever had a grip on his brief, and he only ever cared about trains.

Totally agree. No loyalty to any particular party on this issue. He should.
So should a lot of MPs.

Is this really the best they've got?
I know what you mean. This government just does not have the policies, the people nor the power to make the changes that are so necessary.
Bonfire of the quangos? Whatever happened to that? Shameful levels of payments to the top management of those few quangos disposed of, only for these people to turn up the following day in similar high paid public sector jobs whilst the rest of the staff become jobless.
MPs expenses..does anyone really think anything has changed?
Immense cost of war in Afghanistan
Complete failure to address the public sector pensions issue
More waste of time and money on the needless vanity project of HS2
Complete failure to police the banking system where the interest rates charged to business bear no relationship to base rate.
Complete failure on housing, with mortgages far too cheap and rents far too high,
Abandonment of savers.
Much needed reform of the benefits system, but totally ruined by the way they have gone about it.
Sure the last lot were worse, but that is no excuse. At least , though this lot is increasing spending on the NHS and despite Sev's opposite opinion the govt IS committed to the principle and practice of the NHS.

Hunt likes homeopathy
Those things can happen when you go to a boys-only boarding school. I expect he's grown out of it by now.

Not so much rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic, more like repositioning the waxworks in the Chamber of Horrors.

Ah, a much more Tory cabinet. After the charade for the last 2 years here go with the true face of the Tories. A justice minister who thinks it's OK to exclude homosexuals from a place of work, and an equalities minister who voted against equal rights for gays. And how long before we see a new runway at Heathrow on the agenda?
If the Lib Dems needed a further reason to get out of the coalition, they've just got it.
