By mutual consent, of course!

"A man of strong values, Brian embraced the clubs values honesty, respect, self-control, pride in the Roosters jersey and leaves behind a strong culture that will continue to grow moving forward," the statement read.

Nice words while as the article also quotes:

the increasing feeling is that like (Brian) Smith, (Tim) Sheens has lost touch with the modern game.

- so they are generally considered 'past their sell by date'.

In the case of Tim Sheens, I feel it's just a case of being in the same job for too long. The Tigers players look like they need to hear a different coaches view.

Tigers have plenty of creative ability but lack consistency and the kind of forward muscle despite having some good forwards.
A dynamic new coach with a fresh voice could do the trick and move a few folk along.
They did miss Farrah at a key time.

They did miss Farrah. I also wonder about whether moving Benji into a less off the cuff role has worked either. I know Robert Lui wasn't the best scrum half in the world, and he had his problems, but he did a good job for the Tigers when he was there and it allowed Benji to play his natural game more.

A new good half back partner for Marshall would be the right way to go.

Having had him in my Fantasy team at various times in the last two seasons I know from experience that Benji isn't always consistent. He has generally given me some good points.
I have dropped him though when he's had a couple of ordinary (lower) scoring weeks. He just has these patches every so often. I did have him back towards the end of this season and he scored well for me.
No I think Tigers problems are elsewhere. Maybe there's just too much reliance on Marshall and Farrah who have got them out of trouble on a lot of occasions.

Sydney Roosters have put an end to speculation about who would take Brian Smith's job as head coach, appointing former Roosters player Trent Robinson.

Robinson has agreed to a three-year contract and will join the Roosters from Super League’s Catalans Dragons where he has been head coach since 2011.
