Good luck to him, as he served us well, yet again that the boys at Post Office Road seem incapable of developing their own talent!

Where do your players come from?
We run all the Scholarship teams, Academy team and Reserves but if a players is out there who can do a job for us we are bound to take an interest. Some of our unbeaten reserves from last season are heading for the Championship next season and we have a few youngsters who are developing into really good players who could go all the way to SL, as Zac Hardaker did. Developing players takes time and they won't always stay at the club who developed them, sometimes they need to move on to get experience of playing first team rugby.
Will we get into SL? maybe, maybe not but we want to be the best we can be and clearly Dewsbury are doing something right otherwise we wouldn't be taking your players.

Patience Kelsey. there are years n years in front of you to chuck your money at dews i just wished there were another couple o' thousand like you!!!!

That's right. You just keep turning up for many a year Kelsey and try to persuade a couple of mates to come with you. That would be much better than chucking a couple of quid at the club.

Just think, in a few decades you can be a moaning old git too!

No offence but it's mainly us south stand lot that keep the club going, not that I will lose any sleep now AF&GF are gone, I will have to accept that they're gone, as I'm in the real world.

No offence taken, Kelsey. I was merely responding to BSJ's badinage in kind.

i would pay into squadbuilder, but i'm only 15, not old enough to have a bank account yet

Yes you certainly are. It's an interesting debate about revenue. I often think that a club's ground can be a bit of an albatross around their necks, however, I tend to spend relatively freely at the Mount/Tetley Stadium rather than at say LSV or the Shay as I know tha tthe money goes directly to the club and not a council or private company. I suspect that may be the case with other spectators too, well the few I stand with.

Oh how times change, if my memory serves me well didn't Dewsbury sign Liam Finn from Wakefield after he had been on loan with Featherstone?, I seam to remember that you also signed Danny Maun and Brynn Powell from Featherstone that season after we were relegated. You very rarely get players who stay at a club for life in todays game. Players move on sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. I have no doubt that players will leave Featherstone Rovers at the end of this season, maybe for better money or maybe for first team rugby, i wish them all well and I'm always glad to see then back at Big Fellas a hope that they have a good game. I am sure that Crossley will be a fine player next season at Featherstone just like England and Lockwood have been this season.
I would like to wish Dewsbury all the best for next season.

Could Dom Maloney be coming back to us? Hes not getting retained at Fev apparantly? Wouldnt be a bad signing.

He's declined the offer of a contract with us according to the local rag. There are persistant rumours that he is set to join the army, however this has not been confirmed officially.

I'd take those two AND dom. Not sure we can afford any of them though. :( :(

Obviously a fan with his ear to the ground. Most people have been aware for weeks that Korkidas is going back to Australia at the end of this season to take over his Fathers business.
What I'm looking for is someone who can contribute to what England has given to the world: culture, sophistication, genius. A little bit more than an 'ot dog, know what I mean?

I think many Rams fans would find the prospect of finding Coolie with his ear to the ground too tempting.
Sales of hob-nail boots would rocket
