Is this first first piece in the jigsaw of your new partnership with Wakefield?
Glenn stated quite categorically last night that Dewsbury would not be a feeder club for any SL team!

Another unproven, well meaning coach?
Once a mistake, twice an accident. Three times suicide.

Interesting to be getting a bit of abuse from doggies already. Are they a bit worried that GM is a better bet than WJ or did he let them down in the past and they're still a little bitter?
They shouldn't worry - we're not spending as much money as they are so won't be challenging their place at the summit of HW RL for a few months yet.

If I remember correctly, although GM said we wouldn't be a feeder team, he did indicate that he would be getting in players from a variety of SL clubs on long term loans. Not being tied down to one SL club means you are more able fill the positions you need strengthening, as opposed to having to make do with what players your parent club have left over. If clubs want to sign above average players, thats the way they might have to go given the current financial climate, unless of course they are a moneybags club. I'm still not comfortable, even with that scenario, but until the RL force SL to abandon the policy of signing young kids with any semblance of talent, so that Championship clubs are given little chance of nurturing their own local lads, we're stuck with it. Of course if the championship clubs acted as one, and refused point blank to accomodate the SL youth team players except as permanent signings, we might actually get somewhere ..... oh is that a flying pig ?Who mentioned anything about being a feeder club? and i wouldn't be too sure about that statement
