I always said he'd sign on again for next year.

Who's next? A decent half-back pairing would be good.

They must be loosing their touch over at Fev. Missing out on Craven, Faal and GF going to Batley, and I hear (only rumor) Austin might be going over the valley too(sincerely hope not as I'm sure he would be 1st choice for the captaincy next term), Thats only one player they have managed to poach so far! Really not good enough at this stage Mr Powell!

I'd be surprised if we end up with Austin B to be honest. Not a bad player at all dont get me wrong, but we've already got a decent compliment in that position, especially if we end up re-signing Alex Brown too.
I could be wrong though.

Potts, campbell, brown, preece - I can't see AB wanting that kind of competition. I do think he was one of warrens mates though, and I can see him leaving us out of loyalty to his old coach. What happened to the WJ and AB to haven rumour ?

Austin would not leave just because Warren as. It was Andy Kelly who signed him, although obviouly hes good mates with wazza. I was talking to Austin the other night and he does want to stay,he loves the club, however its not just in austins hands. Austin will have been one of our higher earners and Glenn may not want to spend the same kind of money on Austins wages as Warren did. Other clubs are believed to be after him, namely Whitehaven and Batley. Maybe Austins been offered a development officer role at Haven if Warren takes over and will be on more money?? What Austin did say though,on facebook was hes some big decisions to make this next week or so and anyone who is his mate on facebook will tell you now how much he loves the club!!

Why not a ten year contract? Wilsden Ram will be getting upset if another player who loves the club leaves before he's up for retirement!

If AB were to leave it wouldn't be any great loss. He's a popular character with many fans but he's a;so lost a whole yard of pace. If we had him and Wainwright on the wings next year I reckon we'd have the slowest in the whole division. If he can get a good deal out of another club then good luck to him and no hard feelings.
So far, however, we seem to have just a full back signed up. No doubt a few more will be in the immediate pipeline.

I agree BSJ. Id like to see young Tonksy, Tebby, Nicholson, Greg Scott, Patch(as a looseforward), Esders, Jonesy, Chandler and Rob Spicer retained though.
I reckon,at just 20 Tonksys got a right future in the game and Glenn will help him loads having played the same position. Hes a player who could move to SL oneday
