So happy James. decided to stop another season with us,i know for a fact he was offered good money from both Featherstone and York to sign for them. Was a nice surprise to hear he's stopping with his local club.Hope this gets the ball rolling and we start getting more players signed up.

I've also heard that York are splashing out this year. It makes you wonder where they get their money from.

Good point actually BSJ, it's a bit like Keighley, where did they get their money from.

why does it matter?
It matters for our sport as a whole that we don't have clubs continuously over-stretching themselves and getting into financial deep doo-doo. The media are always ready to denigrate RL as it is; we don't need to provide them with any more ammunition do we?
Or maybe you just don't care Robin so long as the Rovers can go rolling along?

why does it matter?
well as everyone has seen the bradford issue, it clearly does matter, but fev are ok in terms of finance, so it wouldn't matter to you, it matters to others though

Have you any evidence York are spending beyond their means. why do the York cub have to account to you for how they spend their wad?
Is anyone asking where you got the money to sign James craven? Is anyone wondering where dewsbury get their money from or that dews maybe over stretching or getting themselves into the myre?
York have had three years of virtual austerity. this season they are spending just a few quid. c'est la vie. good on em. i hope they strengthen on and off the pitch and threaten the top clubs.
They have to explain nowt to you or I.

give over johnny. course i bloody care. i just don't think its our business. member clubs and the rfl have a duty to audit and manage club finances. its not infallible and needs greater scrutiny - but i repeat, just cos York are strengthening after 3 seasons of living on fresh air, it doesn't mean they're bound for sh it creek! And it most certainly isn't nowt to do wi me!!!Or maybe you just don't care Robin so long as the Rovers can go rolling along?

So far, however, we seem to have just a full back signed up. No doubt a few more will be in the immediate pipeline.
I heard it cost you so much to keep Craven you don't av any money left for any other players and Craven is going to take the league on all on by im sen!

Think you'll find we are financially one of the best run clubs at our level , we also have a good squad builder system plus good sponsors , also a better crowd average than a few teams at our level & as already said we've hardly spent a fortune for the last 2/3 yrs , so we're do you get your cash from ?

Trolling again Mr Piggy!
Think us Knights fans are hoping for a better season than the previous two and to do this a better quality of player needs to be signed and I dare say this means spening more money.
