He's a big follower and supporter of Cumbrian rugby and would be a good pick if you need a coach, with his record. PS good to see Leahy have another top notch game. ' Oh the completely other way ... Right ' . Imagine that's on Sunday with no video ref. Sorry for messing up your season ...

He's always linked with just about any coaching job going. Good coach but there often seems to be fallout at the clubs hes at.

Interesting to hear him say he would have to move up here because that's the only way do the job by living in the area. I wonder if that applies to players as well?
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

He had all his players based in the NE when he was gateshead coach. Looks like Haven have a choice between first class coach or mediocre travelling players!

He only does full time so will cost a bomb, used to rate him till he got the Knights job as did a lot of Knights fans, Haven are certs; to be relegated if he takes over and after the way they played in London, good luck in the play offs Town.

Sorry, can't agree with SK on that one. Will do them a good job, given the right players - great reader of the game and knows what he wants from players.

Think Woodsy did a very good job of getting us through the play-off final, however not sure the quality or style of rugby most of that season was where we expected it to be with a pedigree that Woodsy came with. Maybe that was the problem, expectation too high. Not sure what he earnt at the Knights, rumours of £70-£90k a season when at Gateshead and to be fair he had them playing out of their skins, expansive attacking rugby so that's what I was expecting, never really happened. Wherever he ends up of course the fans will gain another fan in TwoBlues who follows him everywhere.
