I think matty is back Sunday mate. The 3 dual reg are ineligible. Dan Rooney still hasn't had his surgery, but could be back for the start of next year.

Yeah carter to 6 is a good move, in the few games he played there he was good at the start of the year. Probably better than lupton in there. In that case ell miller to full back, gus to wing and young mcavoy to miss out. Nice to have an option of 2 though.

Yeh I like that look . Your key positions are 1,6 , 9, 13 and to get Miller , Carter , Matty and Dave there is excellent . Best players getting involved the most. That's a great axis to work around. Miller now for me is to good and important to us to play on the wing and should be our next full back with Carter if he stays as a pivot with his footwork and elusiveness.

maybe giving matty another week or so , but im always comfortable with young Karl at 9.
Mcavoy is a good bencher as he has the physique to play backs or backrow.
I wouldnt be surprised if we try to sign Annakin and Petersen . With the reserve grades in SL being cutback
theres gonna be a lot of good young players not getting regular footy , and the championships a great standard
and a way of getting back in the SL shop window

He was in the 19 man squad last week according to the Internet as well so you never know. Annakin training would suggest he is available for sunday, I've personally never read the rules on dual reg and just assumed the 3 recent duals were ineligible from posts on here(although it would be nice to know what happened to Morris), unless of course annakin came on loan as hes been available without question everyweek since.

The Rule is B3:15 of the RFL's Operational Rules, wonky, and it says in a nutshell that before a dual registered player can play in the League's Grand Final series of matches he must have taken part in 50% of the clubs matches. The matches can be league matches and league cup matches of just league matches whichever gives the player the highest percentage. So, none of those three would qualify for us for the play-offs and as you say the only way Annikin could play is if his dual registration was changed to a loan deal similar to what Haven did with Palfrey (I think) last year before the deadline passed.
I remember when .............................

"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.

Dave Petersen definitely not playing tomorrow, he was on the bench for HKR at London this afternoon (scored a try as well).

Annakin is on loan at town so is available to play loose instead of dave p. and we should have both available (if we win tomorrow) for the visit of Rochdale next week

They can still be recalled you would think?

I don't think they can mate, once on loan it will be the loaning club with the choice not the parent club
