The Rule is B3:15 of the RFL's Operational Rules, wonky, and it says in a nutshell that before a dual registered player can play in the League's Grand Final series of matches he must have taken part in 50% of the clubs matches. The matches can be league matches and league cup matches of just league matches whichever gives the player the highest percentage. So, none of those three would qualify for us for the play-offs and as you say the only way Annikin could play is if his dual registration was changed to a loan deal similar to what Haven did with Palfrey (I think) last year before the deadline passed.
I remember when .............................
"It is impossible not to feel a twinge of sympathy for Workington Town, the fall guys this season for the Super League's determination to retain it's European dimesion, in the shape of Paris. While the French have had every assistance to survive, the importance of having a flagship in a heartland area like West Cumbria has been conveniently forgotten." - Dave hadfield - Independent 25th Augsut 1996.
