no im not saying that,away the brow says he signed a contract with no date on ,so very difficult to prove either way if it was drafted and signed before or after the 1st,no doubt the RFL will be looking at this and the actions of the club and the player

haven4ever the truth always comes out it was very easy to prove because when a Whitehaven board member falsified the date (1st September) on a partially completed contract on that date Matty and his family were out of the county.
The reason Whitehaven falsified the contract was they wanted a transfer fee from Town.
The RFL would have seen the difference from how Matty had dated the Town contract in his writing and how a Whitehaven board member had dated the illegal contract in their own writing.
The RFL ordered Whitehaven to tear up the illegal contract.

Well I have, but all the posts on the subject have been removed from the Haven forum. Question for you then, what was the purpose of someone giving the initial information to Radio Cumbria? And who was that, as I don't think for one minute it came from Town?

Sharp`s a decent player, but he is not what we need at the moment, we should be contntrating on getting props and half backs in.

Shaven forum just got funnier, some of them are refusing to name Matty and would rather say things like "said player" etc. Just how pathetic and hilarious is that

We don't want karalius. Done nothing at haven, nothing at hunslet and were better than getting players who can't get games at similar in quality sides. As for will sharp I think he's exactly what we need. Championship sides hit the wings and centres a lot more than were used to and we need strength and speed out there. And plenty of cover out there as we really struggled this year. We only have miller who's an out and out winger signed on and he might end up at full back if Brett moves on. I would certainly be asking the question, surely Ade Gardner is worth a phone call as well. Can't remember the last time he played for saints or has he retired?

I know we don't want Karalius , his opinion of himself is way above his ability it seems . I just thought it was quite amusing . Hunslet were so rank and they don't want the ex haven superstar ! Championship sides only bring they're flanks into it because they have better halves with good passing and organisational games . You can have Inglis on the wing it doesn't matter if you haven't got halves to supply him with quality . We need a half with a fluid fast passing game both ways . Then you'll see how good your backs really are.

They seem to be blaming Matty for all this whereas if "away the brow" is correct in what he says Matty, by keeping quiet, is helping someone at Haven to stay out of trouble. There has certainly been some sort of irregularities over their approach and "contract" otherwise the RFL would have upheld their claim to have legitimately signed him. We still haven't heard an answer as to who fed the media and for what purpose?

Very harsh on Matt Gardner he is an excellant player but he was never a winger, been excellant for Leigh by all accounts, Anyway he is asst manager of a gym in Warrington so we can forget about him!

Glenn Riley from Warrington would be a good signing, 20 years old, prop massive unit just what we should be looking at
